It does not metallic effect and it is not traditional cotton... it has all the characteristics of the mouliné traditional thread (8-meter skeins divided into 6 threads) but with a new composition: 73% cotton and 27% polyamide lurex, which is what makes it shiny. It is to be used and the traditional cotton skein but it does not make knots during handling.
